So, after 3 months of installing my motor, im ready to install my wiring harness. This part of the harness is fine, it has everything i need but the two battery connectors.

The problem is that the only thing that connects that part of the harness with the battery connectors is this brown plug. I realize that i have a lot of extra wiring thats not needed including all the wires for the fuse block and etc. So is there a way i could fix this mess or should i just get a new harness? This is for a s13 redtop going into a s13 btw.

Do you have another one of the lower fuse panel harnesses in your s13 now? If so just use that

The main harness doesn't look to bad, just make sure you solder all the conections and then conver them up good don't want something shorting out.And isn't there supposed to be 6 wires going to the dash plug? Looks like you have 5. Use the frsport harness guide it really helped me out to go over my harness to make sure it was correct when I got it

If you mean the stock harness that goes from the fuse block to the headlights and etc. then yes, i still do have that. If the weather stays around the 20 degree mark for the next coulpe of days I'll go out and double check everything. I just felt like there should have been more wires instead of the brown plug connecting the harness together.

Oh I see what you're saying, well.. there is.http://www.240sx.ca/i/UNCUT-sr20de_L.jpg

The brown one and the gray one. Any you only have the brown one on your main harness?

If that is your only problem then no, don't get a new harness because that shouldn't be hard to fix
