Salvage Lots Are The Greatest(4 today)

Today i need some stuff for the car so i called the salvage yard in the next town over and they say they have 2 95 240sx's that just came in bout 3 weeks ago so im going back but today i got a new gas door (my sister pryed it open with a screwdriver before!!) that kinda freaked it up a little, a new rearview mirror b/c mine has some brown spots on it that looked quit ruff, and the factory jack, spare tire screw, and the tire tools(my sister lost those) all for only $25!!! Theres still some more things i need to get so i am going back next week sometime. Just thought i would say I LOVE SALVAGE YARDS they have the best stuff for o-so cheap!

You would think there would be more 240's here in the junkyards of socal, but i think all together at about 5 junkyards i have seen like 4. And all of them except one are 89's or 90's. Except for on 91'.

But yea, socal junkyards suck. I could only dream of seeing an s14 in one here.

I'm with brisknfade, nothing really cool in the salvage yards around here. No s14's or z32's

One junkyard in our area had a complete '89 240. Thats where I pulled all the parts I needed. I got both fenders for $60, both taillights and trunklid for $65, MISC inside trim for $5, all 4 sidemarks for $10, Cut off some rocker for $5, both headlight tins for $10 and 3 out of 4 mudguards for $5. I love the junkyard. But like NSR said, no S14 or Z32's. They do have 3 FC's though and about 4 or 5 240, 280Z's.

there are some wrecking yards in sac which is about 30 mins away from me and they have alot of s14's and z32's.... but they know what they have and charge a sh|tload for stuff off of them.... now the local pick n pull that i went to a couple weeks ago had a z32 TT.... but it was already a bare shell damn near

at leat you guys have a junkyard. The one we have is more of a.. parking lot. I have to drive all the way to Tucson to find a good junkyard.

Which brings to mind.. Hey Greg(AZHitMan) how many 91 240 hatchs in phoenix junkyards?

I got for 200$-Z32 Brakes all 4 (calipers rotors, pins, lines)Hubs (all 4)wheels with tires (ALL 4- ones dented) with Potenzas

Then for 100$both fenders, front bumper, headlight covers, power steering pump.

next ill get power windows, and locks ( if i can still use same key part of course)

I also had the diff from a z32 but it was a turbo... so i sold it for 145$ - it was 120

we have a yard in North Houston that only deals in Nissans. I'm always going up there to get S14 parts and Z32 parts. You guys need to do some looking for a more specialised junkyard.
