New user here. I have a slim budget and want the biggest bang for my buck. I was wondering what would be the best route for pushing up the power on a sohc motor. No turbo or anything drastic. Any help will be appreciated.

For just a few hundred a working NOS system can be installed.

Advantages: Lots of extra power for the money.Dis advantages: Needs refills, hard on motor with frequent use.

unfortunately I think nitrous is "drastic" but a 30hp shot used infrequently should be more than fine for "push-button fun"/.

Im considering a 35-hp shot for that exact reason currently...."flip saftey, click button...WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"-chet

I believe Car and Driver installed a 100 shot of nos in an old camaro RS with like 170,000 miles.. article was something like "$1,000 beater shoot out".. makes me think twice how bad nos realy is if that tired motor could take 100 shot

haha, yea, most people do, but many of htese questions have been asked many times, and the answered posted also, all it takes is a lil search and you'll mor ethan likely find the answre
