ya I spent a fair amount of time researching the mines ecu. Looks like the adjust the fuel map, cut the rev limiter and speed limiter. I heard of some people running rich after installing them. I'm a little worried that with that and the 440cc injectors, i may be running super rich, but we will have to see! I know the guy whos engine this was before, and I went for a ride in his coupe. LOVED it ! So I'll let you guys know how everything goes...

I was going to call you a quitter, but instead you are a winner.

Wow...that was lame. But nice job either way.

Listen to ca18detgabby's advice....

Mines ECU = 10 foot barge pole, with you at one end...

As in I wouldn't touch a mines ecu with a ten foot barge pole...

I have read many threads over the years of people who have problems with them..

Well, we will have to see... Can you still get your car dyno/ecu tuned with a mines tuned ecu?

The mines ecu will usually have a resin applied over the eprom, adhering it to the mainboard, this means you will not be able to remove the chip without destroying the board and/or chip in the process..

Hence remapping is almost impossible to achieve, you are pretty well stuck with whatever the eprom has been mapped with originally...

Another reason for my barge pole statement...
