Hey folks,

I just put in Suspension Techniques springs and KYB AGX (awesome setup by the way) and I notice that the rears are about a 1/4" lower than the front wheel gap. The rear gap is 1.4" and the front is 1.6". I was just wondering what might cause this, perhaps the subframe bushings (crosses fingers).

Thanks,Nate

Perhaps.

A general rule of thumb is: all ride height is determined by spring rate.

You said you "just" put them in. Allow some time to let the springs settle somewhat, then get the car re-aligned. All springs settle to a degree.

I just got the idea that maybe my strut mounts are maybe the culprit because they haven't been replaced. Anyone know of any Nismo units that are available or if that would even help? I noticed when re-installing the strut mount rubber that it was definitely indented from the previous spring by about 1/2", mind you the same for the front.

Thanks,Nate

Yeah, give it a week or 2 to finally settle. Also, keep in mind that the front wheel well is larger than the rear ones (its the case with almost all cars).
