does anybody know were to get a quality rollcage from? i want something thats going to prevent my death not get me first place in a car show.

Depends on what you are looking for.

If it's a simple bolt-in then get...

Kirk Racing - S14 only (no sunroof)

Autopower - S13/S14

I don't suggest forward bars that don't extend thru the dash as you can impact them with extremeties (legs, feet, arms) and shatter bones. Plus they don't prevent the wheel (actual wheel) from intruding into the cabin in a hard frontal impact. Side bars will help protect you in the most vulnerable wrecks (side impacts) but make the car a bit difficult to get in and out of.

If you want a full cage, then I suggest a custom fit one. This will give you the most clearance between the bars and your head, and you should build the seat rail into the cage as well to allow the seat to travel with the cage as it deforms in an impact.

With any side bars please seek some level of head restraint built into the seat so your head does not contact the bar upon impact. This would easily incapacitate you.
