i want to boost up my compression on my car from 8:5.1 to 9:5.1 how can i safely do this

just to let you know.

the SOHC(89-90) had the 8.6:1 compression ratio.the DOHC(91+) had differing compressions(9.3:1, 9.5:1, and 9.8:1), i'm not sure what the ratio is on the 1991 model. But you've already got at least 9.3:1
