Safe to Turbo?

i have a stock ka24de in my 93 240sx se coupe. it is an automatic with about 100,000 miles on it. the engine runs strong with no prblems at all. i was wondering if it would be safe to turbo it running bout 6-7psi. will i have transmission problems because it is a stock auto. i do not plan on swappin in a manaul cuz i need the car to b practical and my family will be driving it so i cannot do a manual transmission swap

yes it is safe to turbo.

I guess as long as you educate the other members of your family (hope you don't have a 16 yr old son/brother/relative who just got his license who will be driving the turbo'd 240, haha).

i just want a lttle more power my girl will be driving it to and she knows a little bout cars but she cant drive stick and we need a car we can both drive. with a turbo kit i want to run stock internals and what else would i need to upgrade like fuel management and ecu in order to run low boost safely and roughly how much hp gain can i expect wit 5-7lbs of boost
