I just had the unfortunate experience of feeling the wrench go limp as I was installing my Z32 brake line into the back of the caliper. Guess that teaches me to clean the threads first next time...

Anyway, the threads inside the caliper where the brake line goes in are stripped now and I am wondering if it is safe to use a helicoil or time sert on the fitting?

I am kinda deep into these brakes and need to know whether or not I should fix them or buy a new caliper.

In my experiences with helicoils they can hold up to allot... and i mean allot of pressure. So if you realy love those calipers i would say go for it... just have a professional do it.
