So I've just gone ahead and ordered the Stillen strut tower brace as my birthday present from the misses and unfortuantly you can't install it along with the engine cover. I've never owned a vehicle with an engine cover before, and although I can't see why it would hurt anything I thought I'd ask first, is it safe to drive around without the engine cover on?

Just for information sake, the car is driven in Canadian winters if that means anything at all.

Perfectly fine, the cover is just for looks.

Which is funny because I think it looks terrible. I love seeing the engines on my cars. I hate a mass of plastic blocking everything.

I agree, but the intake on the G isn't that great to look at.I wonder if the cover holds in some heat???

True true. I forgot how ugly the plenum is on the G and Z.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. I didn't think it would hurt, but you never know with engines/cars now a days.

I agree about wanting to see the engine though. Don't ask me why, but for some reason I still love the look of a clean Honda engine bay with the red, blue or black cam cover sitting nicely on top of a clean block.I hope I don't get flamed for that.
