i wouldn't unless you want your pistons to come flying through your hood. just kidding. you'll be just fine without in being there. it's plastic!

Basically it's there fore only one purpose: to make the engine bay look cleaner.

Rather than dress up the actual engine to make it look nice and presentable, they just slap on a cheap piece of plastic and call it a day.

If I were you I'de just toss it
