im about to hook up my sr, i have

s14 t28Toda Racing Cams 264'sToda Adjustable Cam GearsToda Valve SpringsTomei Rocker Arm StoppersSTOCK MAFand s15 480cc injectors

im on stock ecu, and i have a SAFCII. BUT would i be ok driving it to the shop to tune, about 4 miles away without hooking up the safc, or will i run too rich?

just asking if its safe...

eh, it'll be running pretty rich. 4 miles isn't much, but you'll probably want to change your oil out once you get there in case you get some fuel in your oil.

The other option would be to rig up some sort of hacked maf setup... maybe keep the maf somewhat loose on the intake piping, so as to induce a vacuum leak between the throttle body and the MAF.

better questions, would you guys even recommend an SAFC? i've heard its not good for my setup

It should be able to control those 480s just fine.

What is your power goal?
