Does your car naturally boost more with those mods? My friends 180sx is at about 10psi (I mean on its own) with an intake, FMIC, BOV, 3in downpipe and exhaust. I have the same mods, but no boost gauge lol. Both of us seem to need more fuel at the top end though.

I would make sure you have enough fuel to support whatever boost you decide to run. I have "heard" that you can go 12-14 psi though on a stock block...

not on a stock turbo tho... you risk sending the turbine into the motor under that boost

The difference between 10psi and 15psi is probably, like, 10whp.More than 12psi is just going to blow hot air. People say 7psi is stock but you'll net 10psi naturally with a bigger elbow/downpipe/exhaust. Keep it >, or equal to, 10psi.

you can run 20+ on a stock block. on the stock turbo, though, like stated above, anything past 12psi is just hot air.

You do realize that the turbine wheel is on the exhaust side right? So the only place it is going when it assplodes, because you are running 15+ psi on your stock sr turbo, is out the exhaust where it won't hurt a thing.

The raged edge of efficiency on a stock sr turbo is 14 psi, anything past that and it is just a high pressure heat pump waiting to blow up. But in all reality, the difference in power between 12 psi and 14psi on the factory turbo is negligible.(If it is much more than 10 hp I will be surprise)
