Thanks for chiming in this is my first post!

I have a 1990 TT 300zx and I bought the car already modified... I know it was probably a terrible idea but I was able to get in contact with he guy who built the car several years ago! The car had lots of receipts so I figured why not lol

Anyway to the point it blew a head gasket 3 months later and I'm in the process of tear down right now. The car has eagle rods and wiesco pistons .5 over with ARP head studs. Garrett ball bearing water cooled gt28 60 trim turbos, z1 intercoolers, half inch ss steel braided fuel lines, 300 degree fuel rail with nismo 740cc injectors, bigger radiator, dual mafs, walbro 485 FP, light weight flywheel and crank pully, and lastly full 3in straight pipe.

The car was on 1.45 km/cm2 so almost 21 psi on pump gas. I was wondering on my rebuild if that's too much boost and what else I could add for more power safely on pump or 100???? :dblthumb:

Few things I was thinking about putting on while heads are off were, Cams and a fmic? Would this help at all? This is not a daily drivin car so the more power the better haha but I don't want it to be a trailer princess. I'd like to be able to take it out for the weekend or to the track and still drive home lol I know I need a tune for race gas with what I have so on race gas and on the internals I have now what do you guys all think would be safe to make for power? And also what ecu tuning or ecu would you run ? I'm at..... I was just above 500rwhp b4 the headgaskets went on pump with ashspec chiped ecu and my injectors at 80% duty. SSO what do I need to be right on the line of what my bottom end could handle?

Thanks for reading my book above and cheers!!

If you're gonna do cams, might as well do a port and polish, as well as valves, springs, and lifters. Yes, cams alone will help, but all of it together will work better, and it's one of those "while I'm in there" type things.

I wouldn't think wisecos and eagle rods would be too bad off on 21 psi, especially with the fuel system upgraded to support the extra air.

And FMIC is not necessary. Upgraded SMIC's will do everything you need them to, especially if you wanna do something cool like water meth injection or something similar. The biggest benefit you'll see from the intercooler side is upgraded piping, as higher HP numbers find the intake piping restrictive.
