Those spots are fine to use. Give your car the shake test if you're still uncertain when you get it on jack stands.

I believe those are fsm pages, so if it's good enough for Nissan...

In any case, I personally use the frame rail in the back too (as opposed to those 2 round spots or whatnot circled in that page).

The jack points are the recommended ones/best ones if u have a jack that will support that weight & fit under there.

For the front crossmember, make sure you have one of those larger, maybe racing style jacks to even out the force applied when jacking - and using a 1 foot piece of 2x4 or so wouldn't hurt either.

Those 2 jacking points are pretty much the only way I can jack my car up - my car will teeter back and forth very scarily if I use one of the spare jack jacking points. Plus, it's 2 jack points rather than having to do 4, .

haha yeahbut my jack doesnt reach the front crossmember if i jack from the front.. meaning, under the bumper

i was gonna change out my transmission oil, but didnt get to it bc i couldnt make way for me to safely go under the car to unbolt that thing.. i guess my jack is just too big?, its a 3.5ton jack...i cant jack it when the thing is under the car because i have room to go up and down.

my frame rail is f'ed up, i saw it today and wow, its crushed everywhere.. never thought the prev. owner would've done this...

the circle things are the safest place in the rear. put the jack under the diff, jack the rear up, put the jack stands on the circle thing.

to get the jack under your car, drive your car up on a couple 2x4's to gain some height from the start to fit the jack. if you can just jack up the front to do the transmission oil, i would do that, its always safer to have 2 wheels on the ground, just remember to block the wheels on both sides.

i do it this way since i have 2 small jacks & 4 stands...

i use 2 jacks to jack up the front end 1st using the frame rail area in front of the safety stand points... then put the stands on the points. lower the car to the stands...

move the 2 small jacks to the rear circles (perfect fit BTW) and jack up the rear to make it level to the front...leave the jacks on those circles & put the rear stands on the rear frame rails or on the ridge of the spare tire jack points.

perfect way to do it w/ no big jack to reach the front x-member/differential + easier to access the transmission fluid/differential plugs too.

i got this heavy 3ton jack..wow its a bish to move that thing around, even with the heavy-duty wheels it has..

anyways, i looked under my car the other day.. my frame rail is seriously f'ed up.. the front portion is just horrid.. i hope it doesnt start rusting..
