i have a sr20 with the stock t25

-stock MAF :[-walbro 255 fuel pump-stock 370cc injectors-stock headgasket-stock internals-3 inch exhaust from the turbo back-blitz FMIC, blitz blowoff

i was wondering if i could bump up my boost from 7 to 10psi safely......

i mean with like no problems what so ever as a daily driver.

what would be the expected power increase?

do i have to retune?

10 psi is way in the safe range for an SR to run in on stock setup. I run mine 12-13 psi as a daily and have never had an issue. Go past 14 and you start to run into problems. The stock fuel management begins to wheeze out, and the turbo looses effeciency at 15 psi and beyond. I stick to the 12-13 range to give myself headroom.

What was posted before is correct. I run mine at at about 13 or 14 psi as my daily driver close to a year now and have had absolutely no problems. And ya going from 7 to 14 psi there is most definitely a noticeable power increase, but trying to go beyond 14 the turbo does max out and loose efficiency. And we have basically the same setup except i've got a greddy fmic and greddy blow off valve. No re-tune required.

On a 75-80 degree night iv maxed out a fresh t25 with safe AFR's. However, this isnt a smart thing to do, it was done because my brother likes to mess with things he doesnt understand. I was wondering how i ran a 13.2 in the quarter, then i hooked up the boost gage lol.

On a really cold night though your fuel system will max out much earlier. The air is much denser and requires more fuel than the 370's can handle.

10 is safe, you should be fine with it. You would get maybe 25-30 or a bit more extra HP from 3 pds of boost depending on supporting mods.

I wouldnt push it past 10 without a FMIC though, for a few reasons. The biggest one being, a T25 turbo becomes a heat pump past 10 PSI. Without a big FMIC, your introducing a really hot charge of air into your system, which can cause pre-detonation that in most cases will blow your engine.

Edit - Oh but i see you have a FMIC, so your fine. Happy boostin ^^

I run my stock SR at 14 PSI with only bolt ons. Runs strong. The other guys are correct is saying that 14 is max. 370cc injectors are week sauce.

No, you dont need a tune. You wont need a tune untill you change something in your setup, like injector size, MAF, or turbo to name a few.
