Hey guys as the topic says i've been looking around for the in/out settings for a Cobra MAF but i have not been able to find them so far. I looked in the instruction manual listings for them but they were not there also(Ford go figure).

Also i've been looking for someone with the same setup as me so that i have an idea for my base tune for the SAFCII when its installed. Setup is:

JWT ECU tuned for below

50 # (555cc roughly i think) MSD injectorsCobra MAF10 - 12 psi expected boost pressuresstock internals

other semirelevant details are

T3/T4 turbo 50 trim .63 A/R stg III wheelrecirced blowoff valve(no DEC AIR settings needed)JWT fuel railstock FPREGT gauge for tuning only (dyno runs planned)

So far i've only been able to find settings with the Z32 MAF and mostly 370cc injectors/stock MAF

The reason i need the SAFC is because with my JWT ecu tune my car becomes extremely rich once boost starts. The AFR's are below:

2500-3000 --- 12.5 3000-3500 --- 12.03500-3750 --- 12.0 - 10.53750-4250 --- 10.54250-on --- << 10

from 4250 onwards the AFR's were so low that the wideband O2 at the dyno couldn't even read them. Correspondingly the torque dropped steadily down at 4000 rpm dropping from 270ft/lb at 4000 to 175 ft/lb at 6250 rpm. These runs were all done at 10psi.

I plan on trying to keep my AFR's at around 12 throughout if i can so i only plan on removing fuel after 3500 rpm on the high throttle maps. I don't know about the low throttle maps i'll wait for a dyno for that one.

One other thing to mention my wastegate return to the downpipe has a leak in it, could that be causing problems for the O2 sensors in the downpipe?

So is the drastic loss of torque due to the dropping AFR's or the leak in the downpipe or a combination of both???

Any options/suggestions are welcome

Just use the same IN and OUT...that means there is no correction applied to change the MAF signal...what comes in is what goes out.

Stock for a KA is 5 in, 5 out...IIRC.

Start there.

Ok thanks for the tip, i will use the same numbers for in and out but should i set it as 5in 5 out? I'm guessing that would mean that with the JWT setup the ECU is reconfigured to have the Cobra MAF act in the same way as the stock one. Or should i be trying to figure out which in/out number the Cobra MAF represents ie 4in 4 out?

The JWT ECU thinks it's a stock MAF...so use whatever the correct setting for is S14 with stock MAF.

6in 6out works for my S13. Just mess with it until it works well.
