so i got my safc2 and wired it to my ecu. i went by the safc manual and installed the wires how it was shown on the diagram. these were the colors i usedred=powergreen=RPMgray=throttleblack=groundwhite=air inyellow= air out

there are 5 other wires i didnt plug in.Blue PurplePinkOrangeBrown

the knobs on the safc were lite. but the display doesnt show up.. i then cross reference it to the updated diagram on Apexi. the ground was the only one that was changed.. so i changed it.. now i went to check it again and there is still no display. i borrowed a friends safc and it seems to be doin to same thing.. i have no idea whats wrong with it. and it seem that is what is keepin my car from running.. due to fuel problems.. if anyone knows what i can do to get this damn thing workin please help me out.. thanks

double check all your connections.

How did you attach the wires? crimp, quick crimps, solder?

you need to hook up the brown wire also. it needs to be on the same wire as the black one, they need to be about 3/8" apart. Do you have the apex wiring diagram? if not you can go to apex website and download it. http://www.apexi-usa.com/pdfWiring/7.pdfcheck out pages 3 and 4.

2 of the wires are for Knock sensor 1 and 2. I dont have my knock hooked up. I probably should but i dont. I hope you have a wideband so you can read your mixture, wit out that your kinda *** out as i am finding out.

After you verify that you have the AFC wired properly, you need to configure the MAF (0-5v / )

After I got my engine wired up, I had trouble starting it -- I sprayed ether / starting fluid, -- it would 'try' to start, but would not fire /die. I realized that I had not configured my Neo, and you are supposed to configure it before you start (per the manual) -- I ran through the basic setup (whole 30 seconds) and it started off after that, and has with no issue.

Also, dump that SOHC pump and install something that can actually feed your engine ASAP! What is your fuel pressure reading? I used the GTS-T pump that came with my half-cut. Get a Walbro 255 or something man!

your maf setting on the apex should be 4 in and 4 out. did the car turn on before you installed the apex? Also where in the east coast of fl are you?

Ok first of all man the setting for Z32 MAFS is 2 in and 5 out ......your sensor calibration should be set at 1in and 1out.

You just had it backwards. Now the wiring on the other hand as stated above is backwards as well regarding the knock signal. The SAFC2 has 1 wire to read knock, the rb20 ecu however has 2 knock signal wires.I use the knock 1 signal wire to wire an SAFC2 to rb20.

I will suggest though that an SAFC2 is a good little instrument,it will not top what a rom tune can do for your setup.I would have the ecu re-mapped if running a bigger mafs and injectors. Then use the SAFC2 for minor adjustments on a dyno or street tune.

IF you have a z32 maf then your settings should be 2 in 4 out... the 2 in 5 out is for an sr with a z32 maf not an rb..
