Have you ever done any wiring on a car before?

The SAFC is quite simple to hook up and, at the same time a good learning curve for someone dealing with first time tuning, and piggy back wiring.

Let me try and dig something up here. But Basically all you need is the ECU pin out for your year car and engine. Which we have posted in one of our stickies here.

And also the manual from the safc telling you which wire is what. Pretty straight forward. Hardest part IMO is trying to located the right wire on the harness.

Once you get that down it just snip the plastic covering off, solder it, and at the least shrink wrap it.

Thanks for the reply, I've done numerous audio wiring and some other wiring jobs (ignition, lighting, etc)

I looked at the ecu wires and I noticed more than one color wire.

ex. cut maf signal wire (white), looked at ecu wiring and saw more than one white wire. I think I need the ecu pin# diagram..

I'll try and search for it and other helpful stuff. If you guys find it or any other helpful links please post.

Thanks

We have the wiring diagrams for every 240 ecu and RB and SR right in the sticky at the top of the page. No need to go to AZ240 for anything. BEsides, we don't like off site linking epsecially if the info is available right hear on Nico.

If the car runs fine, then those settings will work. I never had the stock maf, so my settings were 2in-7out.

Should be 5 IN and 5 OUT. Maybe 6 IN and 6 OUT.It's different for the metal, and plastic S13/S14 MAF's.Or try 5 IN and 6 OUT, then 6IN and 5 OUT. I can't tell you without looking at it. You can ask just about anyone in here about me and SAFC's.. I'm crazy when it comes to them... Or just lucky. LoLMy stock ECU is running 2 IN and 2 OUT with a Z32 MAF and 740cc injectors. Go figure..
