I currently own a 240sx and i am just about to BOOST it i have a .57trim t3/t4(garrett), and i am currently running stock injectors... but i also have a SAFC but i have NO IDEA on how to set up this piece of tuning equip. i know it is 5in and 5 out... 1 and 1 .. also to have the pointer set to 4cyl.and have 0% across the board on everything is this right? i just dont want to mess anything up.. but what would the % be? i just have no idea what to do and how to set this is with out blowing it up.... i have seen settings for 370cc injectors and higher but without a higher rate fuel pump ,but nothing for stock... are 370cc/higher injectors really necessary... i have also read in a certain magizine with the initials s.s that you can strap on a rising rate(1:1) fpr and you can boost up to 7psi all day... but if you want to go any higher than that(boost and HP) you would need to upgrade your fuel system.... anyway if you can help my with the safc ??? i would really appraciate it

thanx Matthew M. Giddens

Stock injectors? Not a chance. Stock fuel pump? Not if you want to boost over 5 psi. Unless of course, you're just looking for an excuse to rebuild your engine. You MUST invest in a good fuel setup, especially if you have a decent sized turbo. A Walbro and a set of 370's will cost the same or less than that SAFC did. That ought to help keep that KA alive.

What the last guy said. Plus, that is a big turbo. It will not be efficiant under 10Lbs. Expect it to begin boosting around 3700 RPM.

Most guys who use that turbo, and with a smaller 50 trim, do so because they preffer big HP numbers to faster spool. I'f you're not putting in 550cc injectors and going north of 300HP, you are defeating the purpose of the larger turbo.

Plus, you don't want to cut your MAF signal in half if you can help it.

SOHC or DOHC?
