SAFC Trouble...

Hey guys someone who has installed an SAFC should be able to help me here. Just got through wiring the thing up, so I start up my car to see how it's running and it feel like crap. I revved it a little and the thing was just bouncing revs and the car was jolting. Any idea what went wrong?

Yeah, after an extremely "dumb" mistake hahahey are you still going to hookup the knock sensor wire or you just want to leave it like that?

Cool, so I assume everything is running right?I was a bit worried last night cause i didnt know how good it was running

Maybe you guys could elaborate on what went wrong so that we a good thread to point people to if they have similar problems?

Its actually an extremely simple and stupid mistake. What we did was the on the ECU diagram we did not know what was the top or what was the bottom. So the wires were all flipped around. All we had to do was unconnect them and resolder them to the right wires

1 other thing to make sure you do though! (for other people not you)

When doing the initial setup, make sure you set your cylinders to 1 instead of 4 (if you have SR, i donno about KA)

set mine to 4 for the ka and it runs fiine. why would it be one though?

With the setting we had the car ran fan so farwe had it set on cylinders = 4 and 1 in 1 out seems to work fine
