Welcome to NICO. You can find most of what you are lookign for either on this site or by searching the KA-T website. You should be able to find wiring diagrams and DIYs galore. What wideband will you be using?

You NEED a wideband o2 when using an SAFC. It's not even an option, you'll blow your motor correcting fuel flow blind. besides JUST an SAFC, you need a larger list of goodies just so the fuel system can deliver as much fuel in the first place. Do a LOT of research before going any further.....Unless you like blowing motors...

Don't tune a NA. When you do get a SAFCII, let a certified tuner help you tune it. Then you wouldnt need a wideband 02 sensor.

Just have a friend sniff your tail pipe while your tuning and have him tell you if it smells rich or lean .

You can use an SAFC on a n/a car. There is no problem at all with it at all. You just NEED a wideband in order to be able to see what afr you have, or else you can run too rich or too lean with guessing. You wouldn't drive a car without being able to see where you are going...would you? Same principle. A wideband tells you what afr you have, hydro carbon levels, exhaust temp, c02 etc. An SAFC lets you adjust. As for tuning, I don't know why people don't feel safe doing it themselves, lol, it's not that hard at all. In fact, if you search NICO and on the KA-t forums, you'll certainly find several writeups on how to use the SAFC. Comming spring, I may have a nice little DIY requarding this......

Oops, look what I found,lol:

You can download the PDF file from Apexi. You can tune it on the dyno in one day...maybe three pulls if you're good. Depending on your injectors, we can probably get you up and running with a tune that will be rich, but safe.

Welcome to Nico man.

if anything just get it running and take it to a dyno shop. they usually charge very little to tune with an safc since it's easy for them.
