what exaclty can you do with an safc that gets you horsepower and whatnot? i dont fully understand it but i have read up on it a bit.

to the best of my knowledge. It takes information sent to the ECU from the MAF, acts as a go between the MAF and ECU which allows you to tell trick the ECU into think there is either less or more air coming through your MAF. Less air less fuel, more air more fuel. Its a ghetto way to adjust your fuel curve.
