Hi I am planning on getting a safc2 for my ka24det. I am running 550cc injectors and a interecooler. only 6-8psi boost.Stock afm. and stock O2. not looking for large horsepower. I hear the safc has to be tuned at a dyno. you cant tune it on the street. I'm not looking to get every little hp out of it. I was hoping to program it by using someone else values that is running the same setup.

Do I need a wideband O2? I have the 550cc and got them for later. Later I want to put this setup on a built ka motor. For now I am running a stock motor. I'm not using a aftermarket turbo now. It's a trubo off a volvo. Its small but can reach up to 30psi on the volvo 2.5 L.

yes. you can't tune without it. if you dont have a wideband you're going to have to take it somewhere to get it tuned.

you will need a wideband to street tune, if you do not get a wideband you have to go to a dyno to tune. also you cant really use someone else values since it will be way different on your car

You can try to tune withotu wideband.Very easy to do it.But you have to make yourself rich. Therefore you lose your HP. I just bought a wideband $350 lc-1 with xd-1 gauge.
