Ok guys I know there is a half million threads on this, I have searched and tried a bunch of stuff. run down of issue:had a manifold with holes that I changed today to a brand new mani, the turbo is spooling faster/harder for sure but I am having a slight lean issue right around a psi or so. Yesterday it was not there. Along with a slightly rough idle, I had the afc set to 2 in 5 out with the n60 installed. Needed some fuel pulled to stay stoich at most low throttle/rpm points. Now its at stoich with zero correction(what I would assume is right) but is a hair lean for my taste going into boost,it then goes rich like it should.

recap n60 safcII blowthru fmu with 7:1 disc,5* pulled from timing and a relay powered walbro. Car was fine on 2in 5out lastnight with a holy manifold, today I swap mani and its at stoich and has a rough idle.

any help would be good.Should I try going back to 4in 5out like apexi says? or just fiddle with it?

cool

4in 5out is a no go its fine and runs great till it warms up, then is too lean to move in my driveway.1in 5out is what I am using right now,its better than 2in 5out its not so lean(I think if it was N/A it would be a good start) it has a slightly lean spot around 1~3psi(manifold is at about 4psi) but its hard to tell exactly without datalog cause the little t3 is so quick to boost.

it runs good and sounds good, everything feels good minus the down pipe hitting my heat shield due to crappy fitment(IMHO) ebay but I made a straight up trade for it for some 370cc after may wg blew off, then I get a deal on the afc

IT ~should~ be 4in5out but its not cutting it. Btw the white bunny chirps third hard just dumping it. lmk what you think

slacker

I think I figured out the problem, I had my fmu fpr and bov on one vac source myself a couple times and I split it even now my brake booster line is running my bov and my boost gauge and the fpr source is running the fmu and fpr. It goes a hair lean in the 11.5~12:1 range but thats only at 3~5psi.

another thing I noticed is my safc is reading 100% throttle about a half inch before I actually hit it. Is this common, I mean I would assume the afc would still read from the high map setting ?(which I have zero'd IIRC)

well I am gonna continue to update thsi with my findings.

last night made a hard pull in 3rd and the afm is hitting 57%.(which if it was linear means I made 138ish hp ) on 6psi. Trying to negotiate a dyno run with the wifey.

Hey man you know your a/f readings you mentioned is not lean thats more on the rich side are you sure your running lean with those readings it doesnt sound that way

this is a basic setup without ecu tune, I like it rich.... I can afford oil changes on the regular not engine changes
