before installing my q45 maf, my safc had no problems. Now, whenever my doors open or the door locks activate, my safc powers on for a few seconds, then off. i dont know how the power from the door is getting to the safc. i mean before it was fine. i didnt mess with anything near the safc wiring nor the ecu, just the maf itself. i was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions or any clue to whats going on. in the mean time, i'll go recheck any loose connections. thanks

looks like the afc is getting triggered by your door pins. Time to have a look at the wiring behind the dash amongst other things.

doubt check your wiring at the ECU, there are two power wires you can use, but one gets interference with your electrical system sometimes. just use the other one.

they are both red

i used the other power wire, and both seem to have interference and the safc still turns on and off. i left my door open and the door bell goes off, and the safc turns on with it everytime it rings. hahaany other suggestions? i was thinking of putting in a switch, but any other option would be great.

just curious, at the maf part, could there be something wrong there. i mean the maf works and all, but could it bring in any interference? thank you guys

move the power wire to something like the 12v feeding the cigarette lighter or the radio.
