i am installing a safc in my 240 and i just out a Q45 maf and i need some tips on tunning

safc != tuning.get a wideband and a real management system if you intend to make power.

I guess if you dont want to spend the money on an ECU upgrade then its your only option, but going through the stock ECU is pretty cheap and also alows much better control of fuel and ign as well as greater reliability. You can keep the SAFC for light triming of fuel but it would be wise to go through the stock ECU for the actual tune and MAF upgrade.
