i wanted to install my new safc before i install the turbo. it might be a few more weeks before i install it. can i just install the safc running stock everything? and if i can what settings should i use for it. i have a SOHC kae motor with stock 270cc injectors, and stock maf. what should i set the setting at? i am shipping out my rx-7 440cc injectors to be cleaned and flow tested so those will go in when i turbo. what should the settings be like for injectors that size?

u can just install it even tho ur not turbo yet. this is what i am currently doing. i have the DOHC so ur settings on the safc may be different for the in and out. The corrections on the SAFC should be 0% across the board as you really dont need to correct for anything since you are still stock. i know my settings in and out are 5 in and 5 out and obviously set for 4 cylinder.

the settings for those injectors i dont know, but maybe one of the kae-t peeps will post

You can just install it and not tap the airflow wire. Then when you turbo just splice the last wire.

Hey, I have my S-AFC installed and running, but my turbo isn't in. As for looking at the diagram, if the ecu is in its factory position, the bottom of the ECU corresponds to the left side of the printed diagram, I sat on the ground outside of my passenger side, opened the panel, and set the book on the floor of the car so that I could read it, that is the easiest way to keep your orientation straight (unless this sentence just blew it for you). Hook up all of the lines, if you don't make any corrections, your car will not know that the unit is even in there.

If you follow the diagram it will work fine, double check your wiring and pinouts.

Maybe you screwed up your SAFC ghetto wiring it and not following the instructions.

Follow this diagram and it will work, and if it doesnt you screwed something up..

i got the power all done the problem was that i took out the ecu and when i turned the power on it will not power the safc unless the ecu is plugged in. stupid me. i was wondering the color of the wires from ecu harness for the rpm, throttle, and i was told that u can use the blue wire from safc to ecu o2 meter wire to get a voltage reading reading. is this true?
