Will the safc 2 get rid of the boost/fuel cut?

I have an safc 2 havent installed it yet but I tried turning up the boost a little to around 11-12 and since I have no exhaust and free flowing intake I was hitting some sort of limiter around 4500 rpm when it would it full boost. Thanks for the reply.

Yea, that sounds like the boost limiter. I think the stock ECU cuts the engine at like 10, but I'm not sure.

At least I know the SAFC 2 will get rid of it now. Thanks.

I hit 13 with an exhaust leak and run 11.5 now on the HKS adjustable actuator. So it has to be higher than 13 pounds. I've heard One Bar and that is 14.7 pounds.

It does get rid of fuel cut? Which setting is it because I know all the settings dont mess with that. If you add more fuel you will just hit the cut faster since the ecu will believe more air will be coming in.

I have a AFC2 on my CA but I have a chipped ecu also that gets rid of those nasty limiters. I have a stock ecu I could try it out on but my motor is out of the car :-(

is it being limited by PSI or is it maxing out the airflow reading capacity of the stock MAFS? the stock MAFS can't read for ****..

I thought that it maxed out the MAFS and that was actually what the limit was. I thougth that if you switched to a different MAFS that wasn't a problem. The ecu doesn't actually have any way to measure boost. It bases it off of the air flowing through the MAFS, that's why if you have a boost leak, it runs rich. I hate MAFS...

on the other hand MAFS is self correcting, no need for air intake temp sensor... and a MAP can only read as high as its built for and changing MAPs still needs a retune. but MAP is def better if you have the supporting electornics for it.
