Hey guys, I'm gonna be running 5 psi for a while with the stock 270cc injectors, and a Walbro 255. My question is: What % of fuel should I add into the safc?

Dude, don't do this. This is a terrible idea. You'll get an overly rich condition under normal throttle inputs, then when you boost, your injectors will max out, run lean, blow your car up and then we'll be reading your whining post about how you can't believe your car blew up for the next two months.

Besides, do you even know how many lb/min of air you'll be moving @ 5psi?

I think you should research this forum some more before proceeding.

Well I was told that our fuel system can handle the boost with a walbro 255. Here is a direct quote from Marc Mangiarelli of IAP "PSI on stock fuel system with the pump is around 9-10 on a KA24DE, less on an E due to piston weakness"

I know this is not the greatest setup on earth, but I just need it to work for about a month before I get the 650's z32 Maf, and enthalpy ecu tune

Cause I guess the walbro is supposed to do the trick. This is off IAP's website. "Walbro High Pressure/High Volume 255 LPH Fuel Pump (recommended) or Vortec FMU (connections not included due to user placement of FMU). Either of these units provide the extra fuel needed for those with an aftermarket boost controller who plan on exceeding the stock Stage I kit's 7 PSI of boost. "

And I'm only running 5 psi.

You will probably be okay, but it is seriously not reccomended. Just because IAP sells their kits without (IMO) important pieces doesnt mean that everyone's car will be just dandy without them. If you absolutely must do it, be very very careful. Thats it.

For proper advise, will need at least what type of setup do you have.5 psi on a t25 is NOT the same as 5 psi on a to4 turbo.

At least, you need a Walbro FP and a dyno tune or Wideband AT LEAST.Also put a RRPR in there just in case.My advice, DONT do it, you will blow or at least harm a possible healthy engine. What's the rush?

Ummm...240's come stock with a RRFPR.

And also, like pr240sx says, cant' you just wait a month until you have all the parts? Why does everyone insist on rushing things and making foolish decisions???

go one ebay and buy a $40 fpr. bump up the base pressure and your motor will survive.

otherwise it won't.
