hello im selling my q45. vip. its a 94 with 143,xxx miles. it needs a battery, front left bag leaks and is registered last in 2010 under non op with no re-newel fees. only problem i have no idea what its worth. kbb says 1 thing. but the car is a bit different then just the kbb base model it tells you. can some one please inform me what a fair asking price for this car is? i had posted some pics of it on another thread here :

my-first-vip-t561594.html

im selling it cause i am currently fighting a dui and a car is the last thing i need right now.

itl smog once the cats are replaced its straight iped. i had looked into the parts and labor and thats 500$ but i just need money more than a car.

my vip is on craigslist asking 3500. no idea how fair / unfair that is.

things not in the picture : all four windows have courtains leather seats great interior tires and brakes are 95% there all power telescopic steering wheel heated seats fully loaded.

Im not trying to sell this car here, wouldnt complain if it did, but im really just trying to figure out a fair asking price based on the info and pics provided. pelase help me and thank you.

If I understand correctly, you're trying to sell a car in CA that's labeled In-Op due to failing smog tests. Based on that, I'd guess you'd be lucky to get $2k. Might be better to part it out. Good luck.

Working pictures do help. I would be impressed if you do get 2k as rex stated (if you get lucky). With said JDM parts I bet you could pull double that though... Especially if the leather/body is in great shape. Giving the fact that the yen is still going crazy on the dollar.... Less and less parts are being imported meaning the rarity is increasing. If you have time and tools to sit on it and part it out, thats your best route. I bet you can get some instant sales on here and some other forums. Post up what you want to sell or atleast working pics of the car. Maybe a link to craigslist ad?
