just wanted to give you guys an update and vent at the same time. well i thought i was getting out of the NRRBA but it quickly pulled me back in. Anyways my car has been running okay for a few weeks, so today i took it to the dyno shop to tune it and guess what, ROD KNOCK! Man i think this motor is cursed!

It made 195 rwhp with no boost (just tuning for drivability), the guy said that i can easily make 450 to 500 at 20psi with my set up, man this sucks!

Anyways im looking for a long block if anybody knows anybody.

Looking back at your previous posts it seems like you've had serious problems with your oil system. Did you ever get the lifter noise taken care of?

yea it seems that my galley for the lifters were shut, ran external oil to the lifters instead and the noise was gone. not sure if it was related but im gonna start fresh with another block and head as soon as i have some dough.

That sucks. I know how you feel, my 240 is up on jack stands right now and it doesn't look like she is coming down from them any time soon.

damn, and I've been eyeing your setup and waiting for results for awhile... let me know if I can help with anything.

What bearings did you end up using during the first build?(I assume 1size fits all off the shelf stuff, eh)
