--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

it started a good sunny sunday afternoon, decide to take the car out for a spin and do a little bit of tuning since i installed my 650cc injectors. first run everything was cool a little bit on the rich side but i adjusted it. second run its when it started goin sour. my boost wasnt holding up and was slowly dropping and then smoke came all out from my engine and i was like oh oh. finally limped it home which is 2 blocks away and open the hood. there was oil all over the place. my dipstick shot out and my oil catch can was filled with oil, and the car would not idle

after we cleaned up the mess we changed the pcv valve cuz we though it was bad and the car still did not idle, check the compression and this is what i got dry1. 60psi 2. 145psi 3. 75psi4. 70 psi5. 80 psi6. 140psi

with oil 1. 1102. 1903. 1104. 1355. 1356. 190

is it even posible to blow all your piston rings at the same time? well my question is what else could be damage other than my piston rings? and where to get parts to rebuild the motor? are the parts easy to come by or special order? and what would be the estimate or ball park of a rebuild. im just checking my option, my budget is between 2-3 grand max. thanks

let me ask you this, is your catch can venitlated or it's routed to be ventilated? the reason i'm asking is, if your valve cover have no where to ventilate, it'll pop out the dip stick and shoot some oil out from there.

it is ventelated, dont think that could be the problem because its been runing for a while. and the compression is soo low.

I cant tell you much about the motor problem, other than it probably needs a rebuild (duh).

Id consider just getting a new block, as stripped as possible... it seems every time someone thinks there gonna rebuild, it takes much more time and money than its worth.

whyd you say that its gonna cost alot more to rebuild the existing block?

i would find out what's really causing the problem, before tearing down the motor.
