sad day

today was a sad day for my 240. i was driving and all of my mounts just broke and the motor rolled over to the right and forward. so did the transmission and drive shaft. it broke my rack and pinion broke the hangers off my exhaust and the fan hit the rad and messed it up. i have the car at the shop now. there lookin at the motor and trans makin sure nothing major happened to them. cuz when that happened there was ALOT of grinding sounds coming from it. i wish i took pics to show u guys. but word of advice if ur mounts are goin to s*** please replace them. both motor mounts snapped off and the transmission mount broke off the cross member. wish me luck

Man, if you know your mounts are broke bro, spend the $50 at autozone and swap them

If you don't have the tools, save up 200 bucks, and get it done

i just got the car not that long ago. i didnt know they were bad the guy i got the car off of told me he replaced them with oem mounts from nissan. i mean im rly bummed about the whole thing but on the other hand im not that mad cuz i have another 240 the same year i use for parts so im gettin the damaged parts replaced. the funny part is that same dad my mom was tellin me how she doesnt like 240's and she things there P.O.S. and im sittin there like no mom the car is rly good no problems at all. then 20 mins later i was stuck on the side of the road.

thanks man. yea elite is sick. i always get sad when i see all those nice cars cut in half. it breaks my heart when u see a supra cut in half or a skyline cut in half. lol idk thats just me its a sad sight ahaha

update. i got my car back today from the shop! it was running good as hell. everything got fixed...... butwhile i was turning onto my street my clutch linkage went out on me. what a week man. hopefully this will be the last problem i run in to for awhile.

good luck getting her back on the road. one problem always leads to another. if he just replaced the mounts.. and they broke. they must not have been done right.

wow that sucks man.. what ive learned from owning a 240 is that right when you think you got your car running perfectly.. something always happens
