So thanks to the worthless drivers in my city today at 8am the front end of my coupe is now trash. some ******* cut me off then slammed his brakes. the most ****ed up part of the whole deal when I pulled over on the side of the freeway to see my front end trashed he drove off. big *** nissan titan rear bumper through my grill. bent radiator and support front bumper trash headlights didnt break i guess i should be happy about that but yea Im still pissed. Im officialy tired of the worthless drivers in this crappy town.

i had someone hit me in one of my previous cars, and he sped off, so i said f*ck this and sped up and caught him and wrote down his license plate, pulled over and called the cops right away. HE ended up taking ME to court, claiming he didnt even know he hit me. when the judge asked me how much damage was done to my car, and i answered $700 (which was the quote from HIS car insuance), the judge laughed at him and said theres no way you can cause $700 on someone elses car and not know you hit them.

case in point....just like LBC said....always write down the license plate number before pulling over.

Hey, look at it this way, if he hadn't sped off the accident would be filed as your fault, since you hi him from behind regardless of being cut-off.

If he sped away and you got his plate number, you've got leverage now and might get off with his insurance paying for it.

I take 90 to downtown right when you take the austin exit to 35 I guess whoever it was forgot they needed to go that way cut me off then slammed their brakes to avoid hitting the car inf ront of them I honestly dont even know how he got that big truck in that small space. there was maybe a small car length between me and the car in front of me. anyways I know I messed up by not getting a plate or stopping myself. I guess I was just more shocked that when I did pull over the guy just kept going and then looked like he hauled *** to the next available exit ramp. the damage isnt as bad as i thought it was yday now that Ive had time to breath. hoods bent front bumpers cracked grills completely missing radiator is belt but not cracked (weird) Im scared the radiator supports cracked that would suck Ill hear from the insurance today to see whats gunna happen. kinda funny the first thing I thought about after i stopped cussing was "guess nows a good time to get the stillen bumper" hahha Ill try and get some pics posted today after work.

jeez.. its not just your area man, everyone is drving like they own the road these days.. Ive been cut-off 4 times in the last 3 days just to work and back, not counting the dumbass that nearly slammed into teh side of my car yesterday at 6:30AM like I wasnt even there. then flipped me off after I made a super fast lane change to keep from getting hammered and hit the horn so they didnt come over another lane.. damn good thing nobody was on the very right hand lane or I wouldve been toast (it was an exit only lane for those wandering why I wasnt there myself .. and yes shortly after I got on down the road he proceeded to make the final lane change into that lane.. Probably the only time ive ever found the horn to be useful in my driving career lol. usual I just evade and get over it like nothing happened, this time I had nowhere left to evade without hammering the brakes.. and that always ends badly lol (use to be just hammer the gas and leave them sitting there wandering WTF just happened lol.. days like that I really miss the Z28 and wish I got the 3.5!.. but it still wouldnt have that V8 growl that says get the $@%^ outta the way! (not hating at all I love the A/C and the sound of the V6 but u guys know what I mean! haha

to the OP, good luck with that one, sounds like a shatty deal. hopefully the insurance will take care of you, but thats not very likely. Congrats on the opportunity to get a stillen bumper though :p.. and since it bent ur radiator if it got the support.. sounds like a good time to go ahead and invest in an intercooler for that turbo down the road lol

no can do both headlights came out of the accident scratch free. thank god . have you seen the price of those damn things? and yea Im always careful when i drive only because I know im a good driver lots of track experience and experience on the road. it always happens though you have to watch out for the other person these days just as much as yourself. this guy just came out of nowhere so guess **** happens Im just glad I wasnt hurt or that I didnt have my son with me like I usualy do. Kinda made me not want my car anymore haha the new is pretty ruined ya know? but like i said earlier Ive calmed down now so Im just looking at what parts I need and all that jazz. anyone have a hood for sale? LOL
