I was cruising down a road and an 82 y/o guy in a Cadillac DTS shoots out in front of me. I swerved to aviod him then, boom he knocked me across two lanes barely missing an oak tree. Dirver airbag and passenger curtain and seat airbags deploy. There was so much force that the center console was broken. But over all, a very safe vehicle to be in a crash. I still have a little headache, neck hurts, side is sore and knee has a little contusion, but thank God I'm alive. I haven't been able to reach the other gentleman, but I hope he's fine.

Good thing for those crumple zones. You can thank those for only being battered and bruised.

What the hell happened? Looks like a complete loss to me...just let insurance handle it. You'll be fine.

Hopefully it will be damaged enough to be deemed a total loss. Repaired cars are often never like new - unfortunately.

Stay on top of the assessment and indicate your concern for driving a repaired car with so much damage. If your car is not totalled then try to stay on top of the repair process - asking quetions and stopping in periodically. It is harder to express concerns after the car has already been repaired.

Sorry to here about that, and Im glad your ok! Hopefully you get your wheels back soon....but on the lighter side, Its re assuring to see it looks like the coupe stood up well in a collision and the air bags deployed, hope the drivers side airbag didnt hurt you that bad, I know a buddy of mine got a pretty bad burn from his airbag. Any how hope your feeling better soon.

I hope I don't get flamed for this... but since you're ok I think I can ask you this.

What happened to the car? Do you have it in your possession or did the insurance take it?

If you still have it or have access to it... would you be willing to part with the side mirrors? The driver's side window looks good, not too sure about the passenger side though.
