so its been the worse 2 days so far!! a landscaping truck decides run a red light and and ended up taking my front end with him!
i noticed last minute and braked enough to avoid being tboned!

worst of all there were no witnesses and the prick told the cops it was me that ran the light!
so its in investigation and up to police to whom is in fault. still waitin on that

bumper and lights are gone, front bumper support is non existant, headlights are trashed, intercooler is f*** and i have a boost leak.
frame got twisted and it pulls to the right bad. the ca18 runs fine but has major boost leak and doesnt pass 2k rpms. fenders and hood are a mess
.... not sure if this shell is fixable (or cost effective to fix).... this blows a**!

also my job is 45 min away and this is the only car i have available for school and work.
no public transport here so idk wat ima do....

Damn man that sucks... I hope everything turns out for you. If you get insurance money find another s13 shell and swap over your parts.

Interesting. With as many people on here as there are ending up with totaled 240's, it's never their fault. Like, not even once. Hmm.

You sure you weren't just subconsciously wanting an S14?

sucks! i got rearended almost 3 months ago by 2 cars and the middle car lied and said he never hit me and that it was all the 3rd cars fault. my 240 is totaled and i owe over $2000 in towing and storage. and yet still have no money in my pocket from the insurances -_- good luck man!

great news....i dissasembled most of the front end to inspect the damage.

and to my surprise the parts of the frame that were trashed are unboltable! the frame actully only needs a nice wack of a mallet and a quick weld!

i got the new front end on stand by as well! so 2 weeks or so before she is back on the road!

and the new intercooler is on its way also

Yeah man! doesn't look that bad to me, but idk id have to see it in person. Most of the cars that insurance totals are repairable anyway! I fixed a totaled Altima that had rear-ended a chevy 2500 and every peice on that front was trashed, including core support and parts of the frame were folded. bought a front clip from a junkyard and went to cutting and welding and that car is on the road to this day :yesnod If you can still drive it then just go get an alignment and see if that fixes your pull off to the side. its only a $60 risk. looks like from the pics tho the damage pretty much stops at your bumper support... Good luck with it bro!

sorry to hear about the crash, but the damage doesnt look to bad!
I once slid my coupe into a trailblazer and my front was screwed! But with some pulling and hammering it was back to new in a week, so i think you can pull it off! :bigthumb:

Karma.

Today an oblivious old person tried to cross directly in front of me and almost caused a wreck. He never saw me coming down the street (never even looked), and from what I could tell never heard me blare my horn. It wasn't until my tires made a screeching sound around his back end that he gave any indication that he almost f*** my day up.

Thank god I was in a 240. Stock 20 year old worn suspension and still handles like sex.
