Guys/Girls, I don't know how to put this my car is wrecked. I am really sad. I am 100% O.K. I will try and post pix but my heart is too saddened to take pictures right now. I invested a lot of time and money into this car. Since I have did a lot to the car, it is up for grabs. I have insurance but not collision so they won't be fixing her. Entire back end smashed in. Entire passenger side smashed up. She still drives, and I will not be trying to smog her any more. My temporary tags last till the end of January so I will be driving her until then. I would rather give you guys a change to snag this from me for a measly $750 OBO. The interior looks pretty good, with the exception of the drivers seat. Many many good working parts. If you guys don't want it I am calling a junk yard. I am not parting it out so please don't ask me I just don't have the time. This will make a great parts car for you. Pearl White 1994 Q45T. All OEM floor mats, updated parts in the engine. She is drivable so no towing involved.

On a good note, I will be buying another Q as soon as I can. I called 3 people with good deals of which they sold before I can go look. My search for a good Q will most likely take me into next year seeing as I am in no rush to buy a piece of crap.

Its funny because I was reading your post with remembrance of my Mercedes and now this. It sucks, but for the fact that I am ok I am happy. No hospital, no other cars and I drove home. I am stilling using the car but will be buying another one soon.

Hope you can save up enough for collision insurance on your next one!

Glad you are OK.

Lots of easy valuable stuff you can take off before junk yard comes for it. FPCU, ECU, TCU, MAF interior trim pieces.....

Thanks Max, my temp reg ends Feb 1st, and the car still drive, surprisingly well most likely because I did so much before the accident. I am looking at a 96 same color no T model. I was driving today thinking how I should not sell this car, keep it and save up and purchase the 96. Switch the heated seats out, and much many other stuff.

I have no idea why he is interested in it but the good parts on that car are:

It is a 1996 Q45 with OBD2 so easier diagnosing (No consult really needed for some things)

It has the highest value of all the G50's (Because its newer).

And obvliously it has the newer style body and all the goodies from it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The bad:

Slower (supposidly)

And possibly more that I don't know of since I have always had a 1991 and a 1993 (Old body style) and proud of it.

And to the original poster, I am sorry to hear about your Q45 but I would fix it up, Lord know I would if I could have to my first car (1991 Q45)

What year is your Q? I have a 1996 Q45 that needs a new hood...badly. I live in Mo so depending on where you are, may need to ship.

He's in San Diego, CA according to his profile information (look under his screen name by his posts).

Packaging and shipping probably make it cost prohibitive.

I don't have an infatuation with the 96 it just happens there is one on sale here in California which is around my price rang. I am not a fan of driving fast so slow is cool with me. Also the particular car on sale is the same color as my own so I can change out so many parts before sending my current one to be wrecked.

For now I am not parting out or selling. If my calculations are correct if I keep this car, purchase another like it, from 94-96 then I would actually get 100% of my worth out the wreck buy keeping things that would normally cost me in the end. I have too many good parts, including the entire engine, transmission, back shocks, bushings, back seats, hood, driver doors, all original pristine floor mats, sun roof, injectors, hoses, radiator, and spark plugs. My entire interior is real nice with the exception of the driver seat. Also I can transplant the heated seats, all the fuses, relays, belts, fan clutch. So lets see. This may be good in the end, who knows. If you live in San Diego and I am done with the car I will end up giving it away to some one. If I do end up buying a different car altogether then I will sell this one starting at $750 or better offer, but not till the end of January.
