today the vernon city cop took my car away just because my third little break light didnt work it also was a charger cop so he was a dik. he said it was impounded for 30 days but other times i have gotten it the same day.

i live in california and i didn't know that they could do that. My friend doesn't have a third brake light and no cop has said anything about it. I think you should take this to court because even if they were to impound your car they really shouldn't impound it for a month unless you said something to the cop to get him pissed off

If it was impounded for JUST the third brake light was out then it sounds exessive, but I think there's more to the story , I don't think I know any police officers that would impound a car for something like that.

really? ive met a few cops that try there hardest to screw people over. They just look for any little reason to beat your ***.

Its like they get a thrill in abusing what little power they have and they try there best to intimidate you.

not all cops of course its just mainly the highway patrol where i live. The town cops where i live dont give a fkn.

Im not too sure about this, but im pretty sure that as long as you have 2 out of the 3 lights in working condition, you will be let off with a warning AT MOST.

I was pulled over for a freshly blown headlight by all three city cops on duty, a highway patrol and the sheriff. for 1 hour i sat there with five cop cars, all with lights going, behind me. Most cops are d!ck cuz you drive a "little sports car" and they can't find anything wrong with it. or they are power tripping.

theres nothing missing i didnt have my license id with me i just had my id because i dont carry wallets i was in a hurry i got the wrong card thats it.maybe because of that, but that still is a stupid reason to take my car he didnt even tell me about my super loud exhoust wit a test pipe. he was a dik simple as that he was driving a charger the only charger in that city.he just wanted to add more tickets to his list no wonder he has the best car.

It sounds like you've gotten pulled over for this before, and cops have impounded you car for a day. Im sure this cop could see that when he ran your plate number. Maybe this cops figures, "Hey, this guys been warned about this before and doesn't care. Well...I'll make him care and maybe he'll fix his car."

True. But then i was an hour late picking up my girlfriend. And thus she was two hours late getting home. needless to say, her dad was pissed! But she ended up being a cheating whore, so it's all good. All in all though, it doesn't take an hour to write a fix it ticket. that was my main point. Just that some cops are d!ck jus cause. No real good reason. They just are.
