Sacrifice Auto headlights for fogs?

So I bought an OEM fog stalk and upon receiving it, I realized it doesn't have auto headlights on there. A little bummed about that since I actually do enjoy the convenience of the auto headlight function, but of course I could always go back to the old ways of manually flipping them on like the rest of the world lol. At the same time, maybe I may just sell the fog stalk and find one that comes with everything.

I was even thinking maybe combining the two by carefully taking out the fog switch or something, but it looks like too much work.

Wait what? so what are you trying to do exactly? did our fogs come with a switch?

No, I'm going to do a fog light conversion, I'm going to buy some ebay fogs but I bought the combo switch that comes with fogs, BUT doesn't come auto headlights. I currently have auto headlights w/out fogs (obviously).

The more I think about it, I think it may be worth going from auto headlights to have non-auto headlights but gaining fog lights......at least a much easier installation =P

You really don't need to replace the switch. Unless you want the ability to turn the fogs off when you please. You can just tap into the orange reflector light or low beam light so whenever either of those lights are on, the fogs will be on too

I understand but for me personally I like the ease of the plug-and-play method. I suppose if I ever DID want to go back to my my stalk with the auto lamps on it, I could always try to connect the ebay fog light switch that comes with the kit (the push in button)
