so i just put my header on yesteday, & in the proccess i learned about the pully & messed with the tension (so i might be getting the pulley next) but i feel a huge difference & i tracked my car stock & wanna do it now & see what im running after intake header & exhaust but the purpose of this post is to invite any of you local guys out to the track this isnt the official meet just something till then, im gonna be there next wendsay around 6 if any of you guys are interested

lol its in the middle of no where. If you take 99, you can exit Calvine and drive down Calvine past safeway, past sheldon high school, past bradshaw rd. then turn left on excelceor (spell check?) and just take that for a few miles till you pass Jackson rd and its on your right side right after jackson rd. I'll probably be down for this. Mehdi is sending me his Eibach springs so I MIGHT have the springs by then but probably wont have them installed. ill see what happens tho.

BTW mmx23z, im kind of curious about whether or not you had a warranty before you installed the headers? and if you did, how did you rationalize it? lol. im just wondering because i paid out the buttocks for the 100k warranty. i thought about getting boosted, but the warranty held me back from doing so.

members have boosted and then when something went wrong, they put it back to stock and took it to the dealership. headers on the 4 cylinder shouldnt be TOO HARD to install or uninstall. on the V6 its supposed to be a PIA

but if the guy at the dealership actually takes the time to look and is intent on screwing you, im sure that he would look at the aftermarket seals and realize they were not factory. i dunno, i guess you could always try to make friends with a service tech and try to get him to turn a blind eye. but then again, it would get old taking the turbo and such off every time i needed service. i will admit, i do not know enough about the restrictions of the warranty though.

no i didnt buy the extended warranty, & the install only took 2 hrs & the last hr of install was cuz we couldnt find the tensioner to but the belt back on the alternator plus i didnt cut the dow pipe or splice any wires so i can easily but back the stock header & intake on if needed with ease

mehdi sent me the Eibach springs! for free! I'm hella happy! lol he gave me the tracking number. I should probably get them in 7-10 days. so maybe next week when we go to the track but I probably wont have them installed till the weekend

I just talked with Aaron (chiapetchua) and he sounded like he might want to go with me, you, and big rig next wednesday. he hasnt said for sure yes but it sounded like he wanted to go. he's in Davis and has a white 2.5s
