Anyone know the size of the turbo? i have a friend that has one that he well sellme for $20 and i want to know the size and if it will work for me(for now that is) looking to start off with like 200-220rwhp

the turbo is from a 88 saab 9000, it looks to be a t3 but it dosnt have any markings saying anything about it



anyone have any ideas?

that turbo looks a lot like mine and mines makes 230 @ 8psi and feels stong, i did that run with a massive boost leak that has been fixed so am sure it's a little more now.

yeah i found one marking that said .48 a/r on the exhaust side...so seem like thats right .42 and .48....on to my next problem......gettting the broken studs out that i broke when taking them out so i could use and 5 blot DP lol if its not on thing its the other

That turbo's on the small side. I think you would be happier with a T3 from a Z31.And you need a 3bolt DP flange if you're planning to use that internal WG.

yeah i know its a little small it will do till i can get a nice one and build the engine.......i got it for $20 form a friend...and i am not using the wastegate i am going to get exturnal one, so i just took it off and going to get a gasket and use it as a 5 bolt one

$20 = good deal!Dont run too much boost and it should be alright.

yeah i am on here everyday...i read alot search everything out, if i cant find it here i google lol oh and i will keep everyone updated.....first goal is to get her started, probably goting to do it the cheaper way at first......that trubo extrunal wastegate set at 6-8psi use a 12.1 FMU boost design manifold and DP a rsr exmag cat back and a test pipe.....intercooler not sure yet i have a friend selling on that came off a audi i have to look at and see if it will work but that will get me started.....then i can save.... after that i plan to build the block basicly like the BD block they have with a few different thing...P&P the head AEM EMS new turbo and sooo on......400+ HP final goal
