Alright, quick tidbits on what's happening to this car before I haunt your dreams with the obligatory rust shots.

-Custom flat floors, firewall and removable trans. tunnel cover. -Smoothed out rear rollpan-Epicly destroying all rust and rot -Getting a new fresh L28 with carb set-up (more details on engine later)-S13 front crossmember, knuckles and other suspension. -Re-worked rear suspension probably-Bigger brakes all around-Staying gutted with probably a basic cage to come, might as well-Custom anything and everything that needs to be changed-Kid tested, mother approved

Can't think of anything else right now, but basically just re-doing everything possible, this car is so rotten it's not funny, but oh well, it's getting built now. Owner of the car is cool as can be and actually comes up to help out whenever he can, unlike our last project.

Here's some pictures, crappy cell pictures, but you'll get the idea it's almost completely gutted now, still gotta drop the motor and put it on a dolly to sandblast the crap out of it.

Pile of junk, building our own wiring harness, so this is getting junked, wont have any HVAC or anything extra. Of course Jun-san playing a guitar like some dorky white dude.

wow, can you even get pans for the 2+2 or do you have to modify standard pans?

You have to just modify standard pans, but once we started drilling spot welds and pulling stuff out, realized it would actually be fairly simple to extend the standard pans. However, we're going to be doing a subfloor with 1x1" box tubing and putting a flat floor over that the intgrated everything and custom frame rails beneath that which will go from the stock location up front but extend back to the rear subframs, or lack thereof rather. Still debating on S13 rear full swap or some other route. Front is definitely getting S13 suspension and crossmember though. Should come out quite interesting.
