s2 rb25 in 89 240sx.....NO IDLE!

I have a series 2 rb25 in my 240sx coupe. My problem is when the MAF is plugged in it wont idle, but it will rev up. With the MAF unplugged it will idle but does not rev high. I have tried two different MAFs and they both do the same thing. I thought i had a bad MAF, but now i dont know. Does anyone have any info for me??
