it would make no sense for them to release that now...

Think about it, they have the 350z that has 287 hp, the two cars would be in direct competition... If anything they should release a new "Silvia" in the $20,000 upper-economy or mid range with ~220 hp turbocharged I4. That'd be nice :D

Then again, that compete's with the Sentra :(

"The turbocharged GT model, scheduled for release in February 2001, is powered by the newly developed SR20VET engine. This 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is the world's first turbocharged engine to incorporate a variable valve lift and timing (VVL) system, enabling it to generate 280 PS (206 kW) of power for exhilarating acceleration. In addition, torque output in the low to medium speed ranges has also been increased for improved driveability in urban areas as well."Its a transversly mounted motor so its either FWD or AWD. Its used in the new X-Trail.http://www.nissan-global.com/G....html

that and the fact that everything looks like it doesnt belong where it is. the car doesnt even look like its where it is. the parts look like they have been stuck on there very poorly. it sounds nice, but its too good to be true.

TMS, Dead huh? what would you know? You act like you live in Japan or something...:D

Strikingly similar to Nissan Primera

But to my knowledge, Nissan Silvia will not be returning to the production line. And that "S16" is photoshopped as far as im concerned.
