i wouldn't. who the hell wants an awd 240. the 240 was made to drift and handle, and that can only exist on a rwd platform.underground57 wrote:I'd buy it if it was AWD. Well, I'd buy the engine and drive train and swap it into my car now.
it's the french. i think they are starting to influenze the japanese market as well.underground57 wrote:What's up with Nissan's styling choices as of late? They seem to be heading away from mean and agressive and more towards chunky/pokey. Definitely looks a little Toyota-ish. Although, now that I'm thinking about this, it also seems to resemble Peugeot/Citroen euro kinda design a little. And with AWD, are they thinking about maybe entering The WRC or some other form of rallying? That would be so sweet if that was the case! Or maybe I'm just reading too far into things.
I want an AWD 240! The guy in gen chat with the AWD s14 project wants an AWD 240! The kid who bought that ebay RB26 AWD project car wants an AWD 240... Did you forget the Skyline GT-R is AWD?mynismo wrote:i wouldn't. who the hell wants an awd 240. the 240 was made to drift and handle, and that can only exist on a rwd platform.
agreed. keep rwd with the awd option and I wouldn't care much unless the AWD drivers get cocky and bash the RWD 240s.underground57 wrote:I agree with FWD being a dumb move on the part of Nissan, but if they offered RWD with an AWD option similar to how they did the previous skylines, I think most people would be happy.

Nissan making our beloved S-chassis FWD? What is this world coming to...
that drawing has been out for a while and its starting to grow on me...the first pic posted in this thread just sux but its also just a drawing. i think it will have a little bit of sentra and z mixed in when it finally comes out.l3ooherS14 wrote:
That's cause of the Nissan-Renault alliance. Renault now seems to have quite some influence over Nissan's new designs. (i.e. the primera and their new minivan designs.) The MR20DE motor is also a joint design.underground57 wrote: Although, now that I'm thinking about this, it also seems to resemble Peugeot/Citroen euro kinda design a little.
French guys hold white flags.mynismo wrote:as far as im concerned, this could be real, fake, or whatever. it doesn't mean anything whichever way it goes.
nissan isn't nissan anymore. its a french guy holding a japanese flag. where's the interest in that?!
ill be keeping my s13 until it peels over, then ill overpay to find an even cleaner one that's hidden away somewhere years and years from now. NOTHING will ever come close to it in terms of style, drivabilty, platform, aftermarket support and overall likability as the s13. nissan can go ^^^^ themselves up the @ss. they sold out to the curvy unappealing design, and im not buying into that underpowered overated cheap p.o.s.
