if i went with this combo

will the speedo be working and if not what needs to be done???

I'll ask some Japanese friends. Haven't heard of any problems when using the S13 (SR) or S14 transmissions.

they're interchangeable.

Why not fit a A5 transmission from the Skylines? Would provide better gear ratios IMO.
