step one. remove s14 steeing wheel

step two. put in s15 steering wheel.

Done!

ps. If your s14 has airbags, I'd disconnect you battery and let it sit for awhile, otherwise you may wake up with a broken nose.

disconnect the battery for several hours.

you take all off the airbag stuff off of the steering wheel which if IIRC it takes a special security bit. I don't recall what size. then there is a few other screws you have to take off to get to the main nut. remove main nut and beat the steering wheel off.

then put everything back together in reverse order.

To take off a s14 steering wheel it is a T-50 Torx Tamper-proof bit. You can get them at harbor freight or online.

Take off wheel using a tire iron (I find it works pretty good.)

And hook up your airbag sensor but im not so sure how to do that one.

See this is exactly what I mean, there seems to be alot of people who sorta know how to do it but i cant find a good diy or anyone that can completely talk me through it. Guess I'll just get an apc wheel instead

Take screw driver and pop off left and right cover. You get a Torx-50 tamper proof bit and take a screw off on each side.Pull off air bag and unplug wire. Put some place SAFE.Unplug the horn.Remove main nut. Set aside for new wheel.Use steering wheel puller. Put steering wheel and air bag back together.Brake off the plastic post on the the clock spring. So the S15 wheel will fit on.Turn spring to line up with the wireing harness.Put nut on and tighten.Plug in horn.Put air bag on and bolt in.Plug in air bag. Replace covers. I just swapped mine last weekend. I have a '95 built in '94. So I had a couple problems afterwards. Some clicking/poppping noise and the turn signal and washer arms flexed when turning the wheel. I solved this by taking wheel back off and taking the clock spring off to see how much I needed to shave off the wheel. So I lined up the spring harness with the wheel at the 6 o'clock postion, and grinded out about a 1/4" to 3/8" with a dremel. Now the plug harness doesn't throw off the alignment of the wheel when installing.
