Has anyone in this forum put a t28 from a s15 on a s13 red top? I have heard that the only thing that need to be messed with are the oil lines. I have a chance to get one so any info would be much appriciated(spelling?).

i dont see why it wouldn't work....of course the fuel would have to be addressed, along with the oil lines....i'm pretty sure they both use a T3 flange....

I've read a thread about it on here. it had a link to another page of everything this guy ran into doin it but he was driving a silvia in japan. search about i know its around. pretty much tho he siad it was pretty striaght forward some bolts had to be manuvered. and the injectors were nearly maxed out when he was runing .8 bar or 1.0 bar i foget which one.

They're both a T25 flange, and yes, it will work but the lines will have to be adjusted and if you turn up the boost you're going to have issues with the fuel system as was mentioned. Enjoy your day.

The S14 turbo has a T28 compressor and a T25 turbine and housing, the same as on the S13 Turbo. Yes, it is BB, and yes, it will make more boost than the S13. I have the S14 T28 on my red top and it's a decent upgrade. With a fuel pump and adjustible FPR I can run 18psi without a problem, but that boost drops off in the higher RPM's due to the tiny T25 turbine wheel. However, it does make 18psi by 3200 rpm, so it's an excellent street turbo, and at that boost, you'll be in the high 12's. The S15 turbo is much more of a turbo. It has the same compressor, I think, and a larger turbine wheel and housing and can pump out probably 30-40 hp more than the S14 turbo, but of course to do that the fuel system will have to be addressed. Oh yeah, they are both a bolt on affair. All I had to do was bend some oil lines and the inlet pipe for the compressor had to be modified slightly.

do you think 150 dollars for a used s14 turbo is a good deal?or how about 400 dollars for a used s15 turbo?

550cc injectors with fuel regulator and walbro pump should be fine for fuel right?(with ECU retune)

Christ, if either one of those turbos are in good shape, jump on them. My S14 was $600 on ebay, used, but it sure looked brand new. $400 for an S15 turbo is awesome. 550cc injectors are plenty; I think they'll support ~425hp on stock fuel pressure. And you don't have to worry about idling problems with those injectors.

What PSI is the S15's T28 good for? +20psi?

The S15 turbo would probably make 20psi, or, at the least make 300-310 rwhp with supporting mods.

whats used? can be good condition...can be crap....used anything your taking a chance on...especially with a turbo...those prices are too low, even for used, their is prob someething wrong...either clipped to hell, bad wheel, bad seals etc etc.......just be careful about buying used turbo's without seeing it in running condition on a car, or having it in your own hands so you can check the play in the wheel, and condition etc.....

you dont want to buy a BB turbo, and have to try to have it rebuilt, they money you will spend could of gotten you a new turbo

would u suggest to get a non ball bearing turbo so rebuilding it would be cheaper? or if u get a BB turbo, in good shape, once it goes jsut get a new one?

IM just saying that if you buy the s14 BB turbo, and it needs to get rebuilt, youll prob be paying more for the turbo+rebuild than if you were to buy a new s15 bb turbo.......

im saying that buying a Used BB turbo is always a little dangerous, especially without being able to visually inspect the turbo with your own eyes

$900 new from phase2motorsports and a number of other places.

I am not sure what Nissan Japan, Europe or Australia charges but I dont imagine you'll find much of a discount.
