Come on dude. They were never made here an the engine (SR) was also never made here thus the car can never be LEGALLY registered. It's the same thing with a Skyline. Sure there are people that have "connections" and are able to get them tagged, but it is still ultimately illegal.

All these people have decided to be bungholes to you. I'm sorry for that.

The S15 Silvia is a car that was never offered in the USA. You CAN get one, but it won't be legal (people ***** and moan on this topic all the time).

You can get them from places that import engines and parts to the USA.

Getting one WILL be a gamble. You MAY have it impounded.

go search for a thread about importing a skyline. any of them will do. then, insert "S15" everywhere you see "skyline". that will answer every question you have about getting an S15 here.

you could get an s15 but it will be a hassle. import the s15 and buy a shell s14. swap al lthe vin plates over and say the s15 is an s14 that you did serious body work to. no idea if that will work, just a though. still not legal though

That seems to be a common idea that people have.

I don't know though, that seems to be QUITE illegal, isn't it?

well my friend is a native of trinidad and they dont have any restrictions dealing to the importation of cars. he bought his s15 and got imported to the trinidad then imported it to the us from trinidad with no problems.

also he live in county of tennessee were there is no emissions or inspections so he gets away with it.

Try these guys...

http://drifttuners.com/?id=home

Looks like they don't have any s15's in stock now, but they legalize JDM cars for U.S. and Canadian use on both the street and track. Maybe they can get you an s15 if you call them. GL.

I'd do a little research on DT before even contacting them.

This should shed a little light on their character.zer...ators

You just quoted Tokyo Drift. Dont do it again.

To the OP. Unless you have alot of cash, you wont get an S15 that you can legally drive on the street. Incase you missed the 4332432 people who have already said it haha..

Good luck!
